Northwest Arkansas is the sixth fastest-growing region in the country. The northwest region is the state’s primary producer of cattle, poultry, milk, and hogs and pigs. It also produces soybeans, wheat and forestry products in smaller amounts. In addition to 6 major poultry companies, this region also manufactures electrical motors, household appliance, stainless steel and aluminum products, various food products, and plastic sheet/film and bags.
