January 4, 2008 Trip Advisory - January 7th - 12th Pryor to Address Military, Health and Community Concerns WASHINGTON D.C. – Senator Mark Pryor today said he is looking forward to meeting with community leaders, servicemen and women and families during his travels in Arkansas next week. On Monday, January 7th at 12 pm CT, Pryor will speak at the Garland County Democratic Central Committee’s “January Thaw” Democratic Rally. Governor Mike Beebe and Senator Bill Gwatney, Chair of Democratic Party of Arkansas will also attend. This event will take place at the new 2008 Garland County Democratic Headquarters, 608 West Grand Avenue in Hot Springs, AR. On Wednesday, January 9th at 11:30 am CT, Pryor will provide a legislative update and discuss military concerns at the 188th Board of Directors/Fort Chaffee Community Council 1st Quarter Meeting. Following the luncheon, there will be an A-10 Airplane dedication. This event will take place at the Citizen Airmen Dining Hall at the 188th Fighter Wing, 4850 Leigh Avenue in Fort Smith, AR. At 7:15 pm CT, Pryor will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 Arkansas Municipal League’s Winter Conference opening banquet. The Main Street Awards will also be presented at the event. The banquet will take place at the Peabody Hotel and Statehouse Convention Center, Peabody Ballroom, 3 Statehouse Plaza in Little Rock, AR. On Friday, January 11th at 11:00 am CT, Pryor will participate in the Better Health Care Together Regional Discussion hosted by the Better Healthcare Alliance. This event will take place at the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library, 1200 President Clinton Avenue in Little Rock, AR. On Saturday, January 12th at 5:30 pm CT, Pryor will be the keynote speaker at the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce Banquet. This event will take place at the Community Christian Fellowship Church, 525 S. Lincoln Street in Siloam Springs, AR.
