July 1, 2008 Trip Advisory - July 2nd: Pryor to Honor Legacy of Judge Howard and Discuss Needs of First Responders
WASHINGTON D.C. – Senator Mark Pryor today said he is looking forward to taking questions from radio callers and meeting with community leaders on Wednesday, July 2nd. On Wednesday, July 2nd at 7 am CT, Pryor will be a special guest on the “Show with No Name” with David Bazzel and Tommy Smith. You can listen to his interview at the Buzz 103.7 FM. At 10 am CT, Pryor will honor the life and legacy of Judge Howard by providing remarks at a courthouse dedication ceremony. Pryor shepherded legislation through the Senate to designate the Pine Bluff federal building and courthouse after the late U.S. District Court Judge George Howard, Jr. Senator Lincoln, Congressman Ross and the Howard family will also be in attendance. This event will take place at 100 East 8th Avenue in Pine Bluff, AR. At 11:30 am CT, Pryor will discuss the needs and demands of local first responders with Fire Chief Don Horton and tour the Pine Bluff firehouse.
