WASHINGTON D.C. – Senator Mark Pryor said he will travel to south Arkansas to discuss the economic recovery with local business and community leaders and help roll out Camden’s first Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) launcher.

On Monday, April 13^th at 9 am CT, Pryor will participate in a ceremony commemorating the first Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) launcher produced in Camden. This critical missile defense system is designed to shoot down short- and medium-range ballistic missiles. The ceremony will take place at the Lockheed Martin East Camden Facility, Highway 274 in East Camden, AR.

At 12 pm CT, Pryor will discuss economic development at a joint El Dorado Rotary and Chamber of Commerce luncheon. This event will take place at the El Dorado Country Club, 101 Shady Side Street in El Dorado, AR.

On Thursday, April 16^th at 11:30 am CT, Pryor will deliver the keynote address at the UALR Bowen School of Law Alumni luncheon. This event will take place in the Peabody Hotel and Statehouse Convention Center, Peabody Ballroom, 3 Statehouse Plaza in Little Rock, AR.
